Whether we are attending to our breath and thoughts as we sit, pause, and
observe, or whether we are giving our attention to our clients’ needs, we are
present and attentive in both scenarios.
Mindfulness is the cornerstone of any marketing. While we hear about PMA
(positive mental attitude) or having the right mindset, mindfulness goes beyond
this one static, set point. Mindfulness is constant - continually moving.
It is the moment-by-moment consciousness of our own creativity; the ever-present
awareness of, and attention to, our thoughts, beliefs, and how we feel in each
fluid moment of time, or "Flow" as "Mike" Csikszentmihalyi suggests.

Marketing Mindfulness™ combines our inborn strengths and awareness of our

with the right people, the right job, in the right moment.
When we market, we offer products or service to another; this requires
shrewd multi-sensory skills. We must be adept at attending to the
conscious and unconscious needs of the client: the spoken and non-verbal, the
obvious and the subliminal, the stated need and the seemingly unrelated
sentence; the concrete and the mercurial, the intellectual and the emotional.
In short, the marketing relationship requires big currency and that currency
mandates that we pay in full. We must pay attention.
